Lights
Look at the sparkle
hanging upon all houses,
It shines throughout
neighborhood streets,
Twinkling things enwrap
Christmas trees around
this large greenery,
Heart is full as wondrous
eyes stare up at the lights,
Like joy infused in your soul
though once its fuse blows,
Hollowness seeps through
the bones where you hope
the enthralling can keep
going and going,
Except it shows how much
good impacts us both,
Where lights uplift our fate
while it can fracture a phase,
Another day comes to know
there will be another day
to see a place illuminate.
