Trance

I was pulled back as I was compelled to enter a vault that sealed a book behind it. Although, it was not a regular book you would find in a bookstore-- this book was filled with powers that made you feel you could change anything and anyone. The book contained words only few can read, and once you read them things can turn dark.

As I saw the book, I heard it calling me to take ownership of what I needed to protect in there as if it was telling me I have the power to control everything. I felt my heartbeat racing for the need of the book inside the vault. But someone have pulled me back as I tried to enter and grab the book, and while I was in trance walking towards the book two friends of mine screamed "NO!" They reminded me about the evil things it could do once I picked up that book which will not make me the same person. One friend was closing the vault while the other was holding me back with all his strength.

When they shut the vaulted door, I was back to my normal state, I did not know what happened as I looked between two of my friends and asked, "What just happened? Did I hurt anyone?" It is as if I blanked out in another state of mind. They both looked at me not saying anything, but I was afraid of what I may have done. All they told me was I am fine now, and we must find a way to burn the book behind the vaulted door.
